H7 6 in. Aluminum Recessed Lighting Housing for Remodel Ceiling, Insulation Contact by Halo

The H7RICT is an insulated ceiling housing built from aluminum and designed for remodeling applications where the housing will be in direct contact with ceiling insulation. The built in integral thermal protector provides positive protection against overlapping. This housing also features an adjustable socket bracket to assure proper and consistent lamp positioning. The housing’s 7-1/2 in. H allows for use in 2 in. x 8 in. joist construction and an integral flange secures the fixture against the ceiling. 4 remodel clips secure the housing and accommodate ceiling thickness from 1/2 in. to 5/8 in. UL approved and CSA certified, the H7RICT simplifies any remodeling project.

• Compatible with a wide variety of 6 in. recessed light trims but is best with Halo 426, 420, 353, 310, 301, 172, 78, 71, 70 and 30 series models
• Compatible with a wide variety of 6 in. LED retrofit trims but is best with Halo quality RL, RA, SLD, LT, SMD and ML series models (Bulb free with some having a 45 year LED lifespan)
• 3 “Quick Connect” connectors eliminate the need for separate wire nuts – simply strip supply wires and push in
• Listed for damp location when used with dedicated wet rated recessed lights
• Features an integral thermal protector to guard against misuse of insulation materials and improper lamping
• Can be installed from below the ceiling in home remodel applications, ideal for those who have limited or no access to their ceiling
